Los miembros vivos de Nirvana hacen un concierto íntimo repasando 16 temas del grupo

Tras la actuación en la ceremonia del Salón de la Fama del Rock, Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl y Pat Smear cogieron los bártulos y se metieron en el mítico club neoyorquino Saint Vitus a hacer un concierto con la ayuda de algunos amigos.
De este modo, Joan Jett, Kim Gordon y Annie Clarke (St. Vincent) volvieron a subir al escenario para acturar junto al trío añadiéndose a la terna J Mascis de Dinosaur Jr y John Mccauley de Deer Tick. El concierto, limitado a 200 invitados, contó con la presencia de gente como Jack Endino, Carrie Brownstein o Butch Vig, y vio como la banda y sus invitados repasaron hasta 15 temas de su discografía, según leemos en NOISEY.

We recently reported that the surviving members of Nirvana played a surprise invite only show at Brooklyn club Saint Vitus after their Rock Hall performance. We can now report the official setlist from that show. The band took the stage at around 2:30 AM and played a sixteen song set of just Nirvana material. The setlist can be viewed below:

Por si la actuación que llevaron a cabo los miembros vivos de Nirvana en la ceremonia de entrada en el Salón de la Fama del Rock And Roll no fuese suficientemente espectacular, sin duda el otro hecho destacado de la velada fue algo que parecía que nunca llegariamos a ver: la reconciliación de Courtney Love, viuda de Kurt Cobain, con los ex-compañeros de banda de éste, Krist Novoselic y Dave Grohl.
Así, la frontwoman de Hole subió al escenario junto a Novoselic y Grohl con actitud reconciliadora y llegó a abrazarse con ellos. Love comentó:
Estos que estoy mirando ahora son mi familia. Desearía que Kurt hubiera podido estar aquí. Lo de esta noche lo habría apreciado de verdad.
Más tarde, en Twitter, Love habló de la emotiva reconciliación adjuntando una bonita foto:
La parte más mágica de la noche. Gracias Dave, te quiero. Sé que esto le hizo sonreír ahí arriba.

Putting aside their long-running feud for Nirvana’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – which is too boring and complicated to rehash here – Grohl and Love joined Krist Novoselic, Pat Smear, Kurt Cobain’s mum Wendy and sister Kim onstage for the ceremony at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center this evening.
While Rolling Stone reports that some segments of the crowd booed Love, she gave a short speech that acknowledged the reconciliatory mood of the evening. “This is my family I’m looking at right now,” she said addressing “Brother Krist” and Grohl. “I just wish Kurt could have been here. Tonight he would have really appreciated it. You know, I have a big speech, but I’m not going to say it,” Love finished before embracing both Grohl and Novoselic.
In case there were any doubts that the previously warring parties were now at peace, Love and Novoselic took to Twitter after the ceremony to confirm the hatchet buried once and for all.
