Music on Vinyl is reissuing Stone Temple Pilots’ first two albums Core and Purple.

Purple is the second studio album released by the Stone Temple Pilots. The album, building on the foundations laid by the band’s debut album Core(soon to be released by MOV) was a huge success for the band, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and selling over six million copies worldwide.
The album’s style sees an expansion of the band’s sound. They shifted to a more alternative rock-style, incorporating some psychedelic and southern rock influences. It produced a number of successful singles a.o. “Vasoline”, “Interstate Love Song” and “Big Empty”. Music On Vinyl is proud to add this legendary name to their catalogue. After living in Los Angeles for almost a decade, Jerry Cantrell, the grunge guitarist of rock band «Alice in Chains,» has reportedly listed his home in North Hollywood for $1.49 million. He purchased the place in 2005 for $1.75 million. Looks like he is selling at a slight loss.
According to the listing records, the home is a 2151 square feet single family residence that sits on a 0.26 acre lot. Built in 1936 the home boasts of Spanish mid-century style architecture. The home comprises of three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Interiors of the house feature stone-tiled, carpeted and hardwood flooring with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and wood-framed French windows. Living spaces of the home include a large drawing room, a formal dining area, a media room and a great room. Other amenities include a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast bar and a laundry room.
