Nowadays, I think it could be hard for a kid to find a favorite drummer, because a lot of that personality is being robbed from these musicians for the sake of perfection, and it’s kind of a drag. It’s nice to hear drummers like Meg White – one of my favorite fucking drummers of all time. Like, nobody fuckin’ plays the drums like that. Or the guy from the Black Keys. Watch that guy play the drums – it’s crazy. The dude from Vampire Weekend. Like, if any of those people went to the Berklee School of Music they’d never be accepted, because they’re not considered technically proficient. But their music’s totally changed the world.

De acuerdo al artículo, Love considera a Rossdale como el auténtico gestor en la sombra del éxito de su esposa, Gwen Stefani.
“Lo divertido es que nunca habría apostado por Gwen. No en su día,” asegura. Entiende la viuda de Kurt Cobain que el “puto imperio” de la marca de ropa de Stefani (L.A.M.B.) se debe a Rossdale.
Su banda nunca tuvo demasiado éxito pero él es listísimo. Le lleva todo a Gwen, ese es él. Lleva la línea de ropa, construyó eso, no tiene otra cosa que hacer.
De todos modos, Love no veía futuro a su relación con el frontman de Bush.
Era muy atractivo pero vi que yo y Gavin Rossdale terminaríamos en la Riviera francesa, tomando clases de tenis y follándonos a nuestros respectivos entrenadores de polo.

ABC recently did a lengthy piece on Courtney Love, and in part of the profile, she talks about her old relationship with Gavin Rossdale and how he supposedly controls wife Gwen Stefani’s career. Here is the excerpt:
“Funny thing, you know, I would’ve never really bet on Gwen,” she said. “Not back in the day.” Love attributed Stefani’s success — her “f**king empire” of a clothing line, L.A.M.B. — to her husband Gavin Rossdale, whom Love said she dated before he got together with Stefani.
“His band never did that well but he is very, very smart,” she said. “He runs the Gwen show, that’s him. He runs the clothing line, he f**king built that up, he has nothing else to do.”
She smiled, shuffling through her purse for a lighter, remembering her relationship with Rossdale. “He was so good looking, but I kind of envisioned that me and Gavin Rossdale would end up on the French Riviera, like, taking tennis lessons and f**king our respective polo teachers.”

The interesting thing about this case is that according to WHOIS records, Pearl Jam had ownership of the name of the domain in the mid-2000s until the end of 2010, when the name change to the privacy of Whois.
EV Touring, Inc., which also owns the mark of Eddie Vedder, is the complainant in the dispute of the domain.
At the time of this publication, the domain does not resolve in a web page.

The «Alice in Chains and Friends Fantasy Football League» today begins its third annual eBay charity auction this morning. The 10-day auction includes collectible items donated by the participants in the League, as black jeans to measure, jacket and studded belt used by Jerry Cantrell during the tour of Alice in Chains BLACKDIAMONDSKYE; a personally worn glove autographed by Randy Wolf; a script of Mad Men, signed by the cast of the series and much more.
