STP announce tour with Filter, new EP
Stone Temple Pilots con Chester Bennington han anunciado que van a salir a la carretera. La gira comienza el 4 de septiembre en Bethlehem, PA, con varias fechas en América del Norte. Filter les acompañarán en algunos de los conciertos.
En un esfuerzo por tomar el control de los futuros discos que sacarán, STP dará a conocer el próximo EP a través de su propio sello, con distribución a través de ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance).
«Estamos muy emocionados sobre el hacer música en un futuro», dijo Robert DeLeo. «El proceso y el propósito de la creación de música es muy gratificante.»
El single debut de la nueva formación de STP, Out of Time está actualmente en el Top 5 y sube rápido.
«Hemos estado escribiendo nuevo material y revisando canciones de los primeros discos», dice Robert. «Todo parece que empecemos de nuevo otra vez y estamos muy contentos de llegar a tocar un set con canciones viejas y nuevas.»

LOS ANGELES (July 15, 2013) – STONE TEMPLE PILOTS with Chester Bennington have announced they’ll be hitting the road with their new line up. The tour kicks off September 4th in Bethlehem, PA, with several North America dates to follow. Platinum rock band FILTER will be supporting the shows.
In an effort to take control of the way they will be delivering new music in the future, STP will release the upcoming EP via their own label, with distribution through ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance).
“We’re very ambitious about the future of making music,” said Robert DeLeo. “The process and intention of creating it is so much more gratifying.”
The debut single from the new STP lineup, Out of Time is currently Top 5 at Active Rock radio and climbing fast.
“We’ve been writing new material and visiting songs from our early albums,” says Robert. “ It all feels new again and we’re excited to get out and play a solid set of songs both old and new.”
