The Melvins are releasing what they call an «unconventional covers album,» adapting songs from artists like Queen and David Bowie as their own. Here’s one of their first offerings from that album, called Everybody Loves Sausages, a cover of Queen’s «You’re My Best Friend,» with guest vocals from Caleb Benjamin of Tweak Bird. The Melvins–along with Melvins Lite, which pairs frontman Buzz Osborne and drummer Dale Crover with musician Trevor Dunn—are touring soon (lotta shows in Germany, definitely playing up the sausage-loving angle), and you can listen to the cover below.

Sí, el vídeo de arriba lo confirma todo, Courtney Love será una artista invitada en el quinto álbum de la reunificada banda de pop alternativo, el disco se llamará Save Rock and Roll. Y también, la ex (?) Vocalista de Hole no tiene ningún problema con pavonearse de Britney Spears. Pearl Jam parece ser que están trabajando en un nuevo disco, pero, como SPIN ha aprendido, informa que Mike Einziger (guitarrista de Incubus) no está trabajando con ellos.
Einziger, vía Twitter, desde Los Ángeles, dijo en las primeras horas de la mañana del miércoles que él estaba con la banda grabando para el próximo LP (a través de Antiquiet). Publicó una foto y escribió: «En el estudio con mi chica y Eddie Vedder, grabando guitarra para el nuevo disco de Pearl Jam»
Un representante de Pearl Jam ha dicho por e-mail que este tweet «no es cierto». Einziger aún no ha actualizado su cuenta de Twitter con una explicación.
Pearl Jam have let on recently they’re working on a new album, but, as SPIN has learned, reports that Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger was recording strings for the album are false.
Einziger, tweeting from Los Angeles, said in the wee hours of Wednesday morning that he was with the band recording strings for the upcoming LP (via Antiquiet). Posting a photo, he wrote, «In the studio with my girl and Eddie Vedder, recording strings for Pearl Jam’s new album :)»
A representative for Pearl Jam has now said via e-mail this tweet is «not true.» Einziger hasn’t yet updated his Twitter account with an explanation.
