Os dijimos la semana pasada que la policía había recuperado la «Fender Telecaster» que le fue robada a Ben Hardy. La guitarra tenía un valor sentimental porque había sido firmada por los miembros de Pearl Jam y dada al hermano de Hardy, Josh, cuando él estaba muriendo de cáncer hace casi 20 años.
Cuando la policia la recuperó, las firmas habían sido borradas con lija. Pero ahora, «Seven Days» (Prensa) que ha contactado a Hardy con Pearl Jam, los cuales se han ofrecido para volver a firmar la guitarra.

An update now to the story of the stolen guitar in Burlington.
We told you last week that police had recovered the Fender Telecaster that was stolen from Ben Hardy. The guitar had sentimental value because it had been signed by members of Pearl Jam and given to Hardy’s brother, Josh, when he was dying of cancer nearly 20 years ago.
When police got it back the signatures had been sanded off. But now, Seven Days newspaper reports that Pearl Jam has contacted Hardy and volunteered to re-sign the guitar.

Cornell: At the time it was. Not because of the actual name. It came from an organic place. But I didn’t feel that Pearl Jam and Soundgarden and Nirvana never sounded much like each other. I feel we were all indie rock bands that were part of an evolution. Soundgarden was influential in bringing indie rock into a more commercially prominent environment. … These days, I don’t mind because it makes it easier to communicate in soundbites.
