Mark Lanegan ha sido confirmado como el cantante del próximo album de Queens of the Stone Age. El Facebook // Twitter  oficiales de Queens of the Stone Age lo han puesto:

Previously, Lanegan had been rumored to have heard several songs from the upcoming Queens of the Stone album and written lyrics for the album. With the confirmation of Lanegan, the new album will feature all members of the original Songs for the Deaf lineup, which included Josh Homme, Nick Oliveri, Dave Grohl, as well as Mark Lanegan.
