Nadie debería estar del todo sorprendido al saber que el infinitamente prolífico Billy Corgan acaba de anunciar un concierto de ocho horas, pero el contenido de ese concierto puede cogeros con la guardia baja . Como señala Spin en un post de Facebook hoy, el líder de Smashing Pumpkins ha anunciado que va a estar realizando una interpretación instrumental y ambiental de la novela existencial de Hermann Hesse Siddhartha en su tienda de té de Chicago, Madame ZuZu’s Teahouse . Corgan espera que el espectáculo dure entre ocho y nueve horas:

No one should be all that surprised that the endlessly prolific Billy Corgan just announced an eight-hour concert, but the content of that performance might catch you off guard. As Spin points out, in a Facebook post today, the Smashing Pumpkins leader announced he’ll be performing an ambient, instrumental interpretation of Hermann Hesse’s existential novel Siddhartha at his Chicago tea shop, Madame ZuZu’s Teahouse. On 2//28 I’ll be doing a show at Madame ZuZu’s Teahouse; start time noon, and due to nature of performance it’ll last 8-9 hours. Performance will be centered around an ambient/musical interpretation of Hermann Hesse’s Siddhartha; built by modular synthesis, on the fly.
