Llega la reedición oficial del tercer álbum de estudio de Sonic Youth «EVOL», lanzado originalmente en mayo de 1986 a través de SST Records. «EVOL» muestra los primeros signos de que la banda estaba dispuesta a transformar su pasado y llevar a la banda hacia una mayor sensibilidad de rock alternativo.
El CD y el código de descarga incluyen una cover de la obra maestra de Kim Fowley «Bubblegum».

“EVOL … mark[s] the true departure point of Sonic Youth’s musical evolution,” says Pitchfork, who place the album in the #31 slot of their Top 100 Albums of The 1980s.

Chris Cornell lanzará una copia remasterizada de su debut en solitario de 1999, con el título cambiado según la ortografía con la que tenía intencionado sacarlo originalmente-Euphoria Mourning— el 14 de agosto de este año. (El título fue cambiado a «Euphoria Morning» antes de su lanzamiento, «después de que escuchase varios malos consejos», dice Cornell ahora).

Chris Cornell is reissuing a remastered version of his 1999 solo debut, with the title spelled the way he’d originally intended—Euphoria Mourning—on August 14. (The title was changed to Euphoria Morning “before release, after I listened to some bad advice,” Cornell says now.)
