Me meto un tiro,
¡Pum!
El eco suena,
¡Pum!
O quizás es el corazón,
¡Pum!

Jerry Cantrell discussed Nirvana’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in a new interview with Cleveland.com:

“I was surprised to see them go in before Pearl Jam,” Cantrell said. “They went in for Bleach, which wasn’t a big record till Nevermind became a big record.’’

“Amo a esos tíos.’’

All that being said, Cantrell’s happy for Kurt Cobain and the surviving members of Nirvana, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.

“It’s well-deserved,’’ he said. “I loved those guys.’’

Of course, there is something you can’t really call an ulterior motive. Call it a glimmer of hope.

“If even one of our group was considered and inducted, it says a lot for them and, associatively, about our whole city,’’ Cantrell said.

Plus, “it’d be nice, I guess,’’ to see Alice in Chains take up residence in the I.M. Pei building on the Lake Erie waterfront as well, he conceded.
