Me meto un tiro,
¡Pum!
El eco suena,
¡Pum!
O quizás es el corazón,
¡Pum!

A complaint (WIPO case number: D2012-0035) was presented this week with the world Organization of intellectual property on the domain name.

The interesting thing about this case is that according to WHOIS records, Pearl Jam had ownership of the name of the domain in the mid-2000s until the end of 2010, when the name change to the privacy of Whois.

EV Touring, Inc., which also owns the mark of Eddie Vedder, is the complainant in the dispute of the domain.

“Me sigue encantando tocar ‘Torn’, ‘My Own Prison’ y ‘Unforgiven’,” asegura el guitarrista Mark Tremonti a ARTISTdirect.

Creed are preparing for their upcoming North American tour which will play their first two albums («My Own Prison» and «Human Clay») from beginning to end.

«I still loved playing ‘Torn’, ‘My Own Prison’ and ‘Unforgiven’,» says guitarist Mark Tremonti at ARTISTdirect. «Play some of those now and feel that you were just a kid when you compusiste them, so long ago.» When you play some of the musical parts, you know that you would now do something different. «Somehow, mola revisit and see where you had your head and how you’ve grown.»

Note that «in» My Own Prison’ everything is quite direct. » There are a couple of riffs here and there that was so cool enough. In general, the album was fairly simple in general. «To get to the second and third, we learned a lot along the way and deepen a bit with the songs».

Ask for «Pity For A di me», item included in «My Own Prison»: «Always liked that song.» While came play with the chorus and I got the letter, ‘ Sell My Pity For A dime ‘. Scott (Stapp) ended the letter. It was one of my own first. «It has a roll of beater classic rock.»

«Inside Us All» («Human Clay») has «memory be college writing the chorus.» I called Scott and told him that he had a large chorus and wanted it heard. I loved it and him also from the beginning. The build together pretty quickly. It is marked by the melody rather than music. «It’s a good song passionate and depressing.»

Guitarist is surprised by how he has learned from his first album. «When I return to»My Own Prison»is, without doubt, return to me I much less experienced where everything is so simple and Basic.» There is plenty of space where you would now do many things. What perhaps was so successful because it was so digestible. «One on – complicates things when you learn on – complicate matters (laughs) these songs are conducted by the melody.»

The first sessions as a band, recalls: «At the beginning, had another bassist and another guitarist.» I played metal riffs and Scott sang a roll type U2. Little by little, while we most played, most got on the same wavelength. «Being in Creed took some of my metal roots and I change in what you hear on the albums.»

The band is already working on material for their next album. «I think that it is a good mix of everything.» We have something material that recalls the roll of «My Own Prison» and the other day composed a theme which has an air of ‘My Sacrifice’. We composed a song that has a scroll to ‘Unforgiven’. Going from one side to another. We try not to envelope – complicate it. Let it flow naturally and so far we are happy. The new album is running strong. «We are excited to move forward.»

To compose, he explains that «I compose only completely.» I can not even have my wife close when I’m writing the ideas of melodies. I can compose riffs with any side but when singing to me, you have to make mistakes and bad sound when you songs something, so I always do it alone. Scored all my ideas and me along with the kids and things can get. The majority of times, like. If don’t like it, show them elsewhere. Once you like the parties, is the put Scott and he improvises on top. If something comes out, show them the remainder had and we fundimos our tunes. The melodies are the most important. «It is what work me more.»

Here are excerpts from SMH‘s Soundgarden article:

Guitarist Kim Thayil says recent shows in North America have found the band ”clicking together” and performing with fresh enthusiasm after the long hiatus.

”There’s definitely a new vitality that comes from time off,” Thayil says, ”but the four of us [vocalist Chris Cornell, drummer Matt Cameron and bass player Ben Shepherd] have grown and had other experiences, we’ve played with other people and, coming back together, we’ve found a natural creative energy.”

Like Thayil, Cornell says the 13-year break has given everyone time to explore other creative outlets and return with renewed enthusiasm.

”Ultimately, we just needed a break from being in Soundgarden,” he says. ”It feels like we had that break, like everyone’s … happy to be back doing it again. Sometimes when bands split up it’s because somebody hated somebody but we were never like that and two weeks after we split up I remember being struck by how happy everybody was.

”Everyone has most of the brain cells they had back then … maybe we’ll just appreciate it a little more this time.”
